The Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party in the Ashanti Region, Dennis Kwakwa has said that the skeptical position of the NDC towards the government’s Agenda 111 hospital project is not surprising and cliche. He cited seemingly precedents in this regard to support his claims.

In a panel discussion on Kessben Fm/Tv morning show Maakye with the host, Omanhene Yaw Adu Boakye, the Regional NABCO Director bloviated to expose the incredulous conduct of the opposition NDC whenever the NPP government endeavor to implement pragmatic policies and projects for the good people of Ghana.

“During Former President Kuffour and the NPP’s regime from 2000 to 2008, there were several interventions which the then opposition NDC kicked against on the feeble premise of it being idealistic. Some of these are the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), Free Maternal Health Care, School Feeding Program, and many others. It was overtly witnessed how the NDC developed many hypothesis to discredit the unprecedented interventions, as said by Kwakwa.”

He continued on the note that, the NDC again demonstrated their cliched posture during the first term of H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the NPP government when they envisioned to implement Free SHS, One District One Factory, Planting for food and jobs, Restoration of the Nursing and Teacher Training Allowance, and the many others.

“We in the NPP promised to curb the excruciating unemployment situation in the country and the NDC said we can’t because they couldn’t. We inaugurated NABCO and promised to employ them permanently, the NDC said it’s impossible but we have done it. When NPP says NDC cannot do, they cannot do, but when the NDC says NPP cannot do, we do and do it better, Dennis Kwakwa added.

To this end has the Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer, for the NPP founded his fact that the NDC is just recycling their seemingly bad-mouthing abearance towards the Agenda 111 hospital project which has started already. This project is expected to be completed in 12 months from its commencement date.
