Giving and Helping the Needy is my Hallmark-CEO, Ampomah Foundation
About 70 physically-challenged persons were entertained at an Easter party organised for them by the Ampomah Foundation this Holy Saturday at the King’s College in Kumasi.
The Ashanti Regional Women’s Organiser of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Ama Ampomah, who doubles as the founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Ampomah Foundation, donated some pieces of cloth and food packs to them, and also enjoyed the game of basketball with the Ashanti Regional Physically-Challenged Women’s Basketball team.
Nana Ama said, the physically-challenged are part and parcel of our society, and for that matter, shouldn’t be neglected or treated as less important. She admonished all at the gathering to learn and inculcate in themselves the habit of showing love and concern to the wellbeing and welfare of the physically-challenged in the society.
She pledged her continued support to the welfare of the physically-challenged. To demonstrate this commitment, she engaged the leaders of the physically-challenged present to solicit for their concerns and needs.
Also present at the event were the Ashanti Regional Communications Director of the NPP, Dr. Kwasi Kyei, who is also the Chairman of the Physically-Challenged society, the Ashanti Regional Organiser of the NPP, Mr. Francis Adomako, the Ashanti Regional Youth Organiser, Mr. Dennis Kwakwa and other functionaries of the New Patriotic Party in the region.
