Ghanaians salute President Akufo-Addo and Budu for stable electricity.
Contrary to the recent sponsored abortive media attacks against Mr Agyemang Budu, the industrious boss of Electricity company of Ghana(ECG), the Ghanaian people have demonstrated their ability to see through outright lies and propaganda; and have made favorable remarks at His Excellency President Nana Akufo-Addo for the effective stability in power supply and excellent service delivery.
The ECG under the able leadership of Agyemang Budu has seen tremendous progress in excellent customer service. Ghanaians have noted particularly the prompt and wide notice given ahead of planned maintenance of the electricity systems. This has considerably reduced the damages to important household and industrial appliances as was the case under the Mahama led NDC leadership. Ghanaians now are able to meet their priorities during these times. Of course, the planned maintenance is recommended for its ability to ensure effective and efficient power supply.
One Chief in Accra, who spoke on condition of anonymity related ‘under Mahama, my subjects who owned cold stores, hairdressers, etc lost huge sums of monies to Dumsor and were out of business. It was a very difficult time for us. You know, here in Tema, we deal mainly in cold stores and supply fish to Ghanaians. But the business of my people deteriorated. Thank God, we had President Akufo-Addo for coming to our aide. We would have been worse. The appointment of Budu is one we will forever remain grateful to President Akufo-Addo. The stability of power supply, the waiving of utility bills for one year to Ghanaians and the maintenance of the power system makes President Nana Akufo-Addo the best President of Ghana.’
Early this year, the hardworking ECG boss was under attack for very weird reasons. It was revealed that those behind the attacks were in desperate need of the ECG boss position, thus their sponsorship of media attacks against the person of Agyemang Budu. But Ghanaians and workers of ECG stood against these failed attacks and have shown their appreciation for the instrumental efforts of Agyemang Budu.
