CEO OF FRANK YEBOAH FOUNDATION CONSTRUCTS FOOTBRIDGE FOR RESIDENTS IN AKROPONG ABOABOSO

Spread the love

As part of his humanitarian activities as usual, Mr. Frank Yeboah commissioned a metallic footbridge for the good people of Akropong Aboaboso and

Atwima Koforidua new site, after a well attended health walk dubbed ‘ Nwabiagya Beye Yie’.

Renovating old structures in the constituency is good and should be encouraged by all, but the question is how impactful will such renovations would be in the life of the ordinary constituents and school children?

Some of the beneficiaries who were using the bridge during the official commissioning could not hide their joy and appreciation for such a thoughtful and impactful initiative.

From their narration, anytime river Aboaboso floods, after a little down pour, the small wooden bridge gets washed off making life unbearable for those on either side of the river; school kids couldn’t go to or return home from school and economic activities get negatively affected too.
Those who could, had to walk a long distance to Koforidua and then to Akropong and vice versa. This is what we call impact driven.

So next time your candidate wants to embark on a project, please do the needs assessment and think of the impacts and not for the optics.
