ASABEE JOINS FIRST LADY TO CELEBRATE ASANTEHEMAA’S 5TH ANNIVERSARY.

Hon Stephen Asamoah Boateng, aspiring national chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Wednesday morning joined the people of Asanteman to honour the Asantehemaa at her 5th anniversary as Queen.

Clad in a distinct green royal kente cloth and wearing black traditional sandals to match, the former SIGA Director General waved to the enthusiastic crowd at the Manhyia Palace.

Going straight to the dais where some of the invited guests were seated, Hon Boateng exchanged pleasantries with them while acknowledging cheers from some government officials and appointees who were seated at an adjoining dais.

Moments after being seated, Hon Boateng received to his side Dean of the Diplomatic Corps.

Also joining him on the dais close to his side was a man he refers to as Godfather, Hon Sampson Kwaku Boafo, former Ashanti Regional Minister and MP for Subin.

RECEPTION:
Taking his turn to greet the Asantehene and Asantehemaa who were both seated in state, Hon Asabee took some majestic steps and walked down the red carpet laid on the grounds.

Beaming with an infectious smile when he got close to the King of Asanteman, Otumfuo too with some radiant happiness on his face signaled the aspiring National Chairman to come close for a handshake. 

Bending his knee close to the King, Hon Boateng wished the King well.

Proceeding to the place where the Asantehemaa was seated Hon Boateng was beckoned by the Queen for a warm embrace. 

HAPPINESS:
Hon Boateng expressed happiness for being able to pay homage to the King and Queen of Asanteman.

The aspiring National Chairman noted that it is always a privilege to serve at the Manhyia Palace.

He said that the Otumfuo and the Queen have always been impactful with what they do.
 
“Let us emulate the selfless attitudes and good zeal for what is right from the King and the Queen”, Hon Boateng posited.
